A Jetski Safari is a jet ski experience in which you will receive a safety briefing and instruction from a Qualified Personal Watercraft Instructor before taking to the water on a 2015 Seadoo GTI Jetski with no prior experience needed.

Once on the water the Instructor will give you further guidance to get you comfortable with both driving the Jetski and your aqua surroundings. Once comfortable and feeling in control of the jetskis you will be led on a guided safari by an Instructor on a seperate lead Jetski, during which you will experience the performance of the watercraft both within Poole Harbour and out on the open sea along the stunning Jurassic Coastline.

Each Safari lasts around one hour on the water (eg, one hour behind the controls of the Jetski) so you will need to allow approximately 2 hours down at the Marina in total, half an hour either side of your session to allow getting changed and watching  safety video etc.

Customers (both drivers and passengers) wishing to take part on a safari must to be able to swim and comfortable in deep water. If you cannot swim, skippered powerboat rides are available.

Each Safari consists of one instructor on the lead rescue jetski and three other jetskis available for customers. Therefore groups can vary from 1 to 6 people (2 per jetski) maximum per instructor.

To drive the Jetski solo you must be 18 years or older. Anyone aged 14 to 17 is able to drive the jetskis on safari but must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18 on the same jetski, 10 to 13 year olds are able to go on the safari as a passenger and a reduced rate is charged for this.

Full safety equipment including a buoyancy aid, helmet and wetsuit is provided. All you need to take along is some swimwear for underneath your wetsuit, a towel and some shoes to wear when walking between the changing rooms and Jetskis. Visit the Jetski Safaris website for more details.
